Heather Kearsley Wolf

“We believe that luxury linens should enhance the lives of those who are fortunate enough to enjoy them and be truly responsible to the earth and the people making them.”

- Heather Kearsley Wolf

Company founder and lead designer Heather Kearsley Wolf draws on more than 450 years of family history in England's weaving and woolen trades to create luxury, handmade bed linens. Heather’s father was a menswear buyer and founder of a Munich-based bespoke suit-making company. Her mother is a third generation high end seamstress with her own couture dress making business. Heather grew up immersed in sewing, fine craftsmanship, design and textiles. Her vision became clear while she operated her own interior design firm in the late 1990s.

Too many of the gorgeous designer fabrics she was buying for duvets, coverlets and shams were too heavy, did not breathe well, and required dry cleaning. In 2001, she and her mother, Gail Wolf, launched Kearsley Couture to create beautifully made bed linens for people who wanted more than the usual white or frilly designs. She went directly to Northern Italy with her ideas, and today, she is able to source—or in many cases create—fabrics that bring the Kearsley experience to life. Kearsley products are always made ethically, sustainably and with an eye to the artisans who bring their personal magic to the product.

Heather holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo College of Architecture and Design and has a Masters Studies in Interior Design from the International Academy of Design & Technology, Chicago.
